November
If you're looking for fall colors, we have them in full force during November! What's blooming (or not?) The crepe myrtles at the front have turned completely orange and some have lost their leaves. The crepe myrtles on the sides have lost a lot of leaves and or they are dark burgundy or red. Fairy lights would be beautiful in them now! The sugar maple at the entrance to the flower garden is showing yellow leaves. The roses are still blooming slightly but other plants are turning "fallish" the hydrangeas will turn yellow/orange about a week after a freeze warning hits. The daylily leaves will be turning yellow, too. The canna lilies are gone but the encore azaleas began their second bloom in late Oct and continue to bloom now. We've planted mums and hope they'll be in full bloom next year. We added pansies for more late fall/winter color. The sedum and marigolds are have peaked and are gone.
